Opportunity Information:

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist with expertise or strong clinical interest in Neurogastroenterology and Motility to join our growing Gastroenterology team in San Francisco.

This opportunity combines full-spectrum gastroenterology with the ability to develop a focused motility practice within a physician-led, multispecialty medical group affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). The position offers access to a comprehensive motility program, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and an expansive referral network across San Francisco and Northern California.

Opportunity Details

  • Practice full-spectrum gastroenterology with a dedicated focus on neurogastroenterology and gastrointestinal motility
  • Evaluate and manage patients with complex esophageal, gastric, intestinal, and anorectal motility disorders
  • Access to a comprehensive motility program with advanced diagnostic testing, including:
    • High-resolution esophageal manometry
    • EndoFLIP
    • Anorectal manometry
    • Small bowel and colonic manometry
    • Gastric barostat studies
    • Bravo pH monitoring
    • Electrogastrography
    • Gastric Alimetry
  • Opportunity to further develop and grow the motility program

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Eligible for a California medical license
  • Clinical interest, experience, or advanced training in Neurogastroenterology and Motility
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting and performing esophageal motility studies
  • Fellowship training or additional expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility
