Opportunity Information:

Sutter North Medical Group (SNMG) is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FMOB) to help establish and grow a unique and innovative service line in Yuba City, California.

This physician will play a foundational role in the development of Family Medicine Obstetrics within SNMG and collaborate closely with hospital and medical group leadership as clinical pathways, privileges, and program structure continue to evolve.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient Family Medicine practice with comprehensive maternity care
  • Ability and desire to perform Cesarean Sections is required

  • Approximately 4-5 call shifts per month for obstetrical coverage

This position is ideal for an experienced physician who is passionate about full-spectrum Family Medicine and Obstetrics and interested in helping build a sustainable FMOB model within a growing medical group.


Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Completion of a Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship is required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Training and experience sufficient to obtain privileges for operative obstetrics and Cesarean Sections
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Interest in program development and clinical leadership preferred
