Northern California Psychology Opportunity
Gould Medical Group is seeking a per diem Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Department with a primary focus on psychological assessment and testing.
This position is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys assessment work and is looking for a part-time opportunity within an integrated healthcare setting
Position Details:
- Per diem opportunity for psychological or neuropsychological testing.
- Starting base salary: $110 per hour for scheduled, patient-facing clinical template scheduled services only. Compensation does not include in-basket management, telephone encounters, My Health Online (MHOL) activities, dictation, form completion, or any other administrative duties.
- Behavioral Health Department consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, NPs and PAs.
- Practice location: Modesto, CA
- Schedule and hours are negotiable based on department needs and candidate availability.
- Integrated medical setting with opportunities for collaboration across specialties
- All age ranges, but can specialize in adults or children
- Low paperwork demands
- No inpatient work

Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing based on clinical referral questions.
- Select, administer, score, and interpret appropriate standardized psychological tests.
- Integrate test results with clinical history, behavioral observations, and other available information.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and clinically useful psychological evaluation reports.
- Provide feedback regarding assessment results and recommendations to patients, families, and referring providers as appropriate.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Practice within applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an APA-accredited program.
- Current California license as a Psychologist.
- Training and experience in psychological assessment and testing.
- Strong knowledge of standardized psychological assessment instruments, test interpretation, and report writing.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
