Opportunity Information

Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Director of Programs and Practice Advancement. 

Location: Bay Area, CA

Position Details:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the development and advancement of APC programs, care models, and innovation initiatives across PAFMG.
  • Partner with physician, operational, and service line leaders to optimize APC practice, improve care delivery, and support organizational priorities. 
  • Lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and scaling of programs that improve access, quality, patient experience, and clinician engagement. 
  • Develop standardized, team-based care models and support consistent APC integration across service lines. 
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and leadership development within the APC workforce. 
  • Participate in organizational leadership initiatives and meetings.

Requirements

    • 2 years related leadership experience
    • Current California State NP or PA License
    • CAPA Controlled Substance Certification (for Physician Assistants only)
    • Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
    • Nurse Practitioner furnishing number of NP’s
    • Active DEA registration
